I really love the mosaic-style effect and somehow it reminds me of Eastern European animation (something like you would see in Tool's videos or in fairytale animations), thus creating the effect of rapid and jerky movement, which has always fascinated me. Very simplistic but very striking. Lovely :)

It was very tiring painting this as i did it all in one go, over 2 hours and with a knife.

Wow, quite a large canvas and in such a quick space of time! I've never really used the knife before but it must be tiring I'd imagine. I'm tempted to give it a try sometime.

I love really expressive strokes, and I love the freedom of loose strokes. I will definitely try it sometime and of course I'll post :D
